The SaleBoat Crew

In exchange for early shopping privileges, Crew members are the extra hands that help The SaleBoat run smoothly. Please consider volunteering a 4 hour shift (or more) in exchange for the earlier and much coveted :) Pre-Sale Pass! We can't do it without our AWESOME Crew!

Volunteer Crew - 4-hour shifts and 8-hour shifts are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. To see available shifts, log in to your consignor account here and choose "volunteer to work."

Bartering - You can also earn volunteer hours by bartering with us. Some bartering opportunities are on a first come basis (such as food and drinks) and will say "Full" when the request has been filled. The need are as follows:

(1) Posting and distributing postcards (250 minimum). Postcards will be provided for you to distribute to local pediatrician offices, OB offices, daycares, local gyms, moms clubs/groups, local businesses, etc. Individual will be asked to provide The SaleBoat with a list of locations where postcards were distributed to receive the Pre-Sale Pass. This counts as a 4-hour shift.

(2) Posting/hanging posters (11 x 17) in local pediatrician offices (restrooms are a great spot), OB offices, daycares, local gyms, local restaurants, local businesses, etc. (10 minimum) This counts as a 4-hour shift.

(3) Placing signage around the venue and nearby areas early Friday or Saturday morning of the Public Sale. Signs will need to be out by 7:30 a.m. on the given day. Between one and two dozen signs will be given. This counts as a 4-hour shift.

(4) No longer available...Provide one case of water (24 pack) and one case of individually packaged snacks for our hard working Crew. Snacks might include bags of chips, pretzels, granola bars, fruit, cookies, etc. This counts as a 4-hour shift.

(5) Do you have a blog or twitter account? Then we would love to have your help in promoting The SaleBoat! (Each blog entry or 2 tweets count as 2 hours, 2 blog entries or 4 tweets will earn you a full 4-hour shift).

Crew Policy:

We have implemented a crew policy in order to attract those crew members who will responsibly fulfill their commitment. We want the SaleBoat to have a full crew at all times. Please thoughtfully consider the commitment before you select a shift.
A $20.00 fee will be deducted from your earnings for a shift not worked.
